Ten minutes with Tremesha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my faith in the Lord, the opportunities I have been blessed with, and the values instilled in me by my parents. They taught me determination, resilience, and the importance of finishing what I start and never doing things halfway. Those lessons continue to guide me in my personal and professional life.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is not to let the pursuit of perfection become the enemy of progress. I have learned that taking action, continuing to improve, and moving forward are often more valuable than waiting for everything to be perfect.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Trust your gut, don't be afraid to be bold, dont be afraid to bring your whole self. into the work that you do. We work in learning and development. We're in the job of building and developing humans we do a disservice to that work when we don't allow our full selves to be present every day
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity in my field right now is the growth of AI technology. Learning and development is an area that is ripe for transformation, and I believe AI has the potential to create new ways of delivering training, improving access to knowledge, and enhancing how people learn and grow.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, Truth, honesty, having fun, not letting the pursuit of perfection be the enemy of your progress.
