Based in the Iowa City–Cedar Rapids area, she currently serves as a Senior Field Sales Account Representative at a medical supply company, where she manages and grows a multi-state territory of more than 2,500 customer accounts. With a proven track record of exceeding sales targets year over year, Tricia is known for her strategic approach to territory management, her ability to identify growth opportunities, and her commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences. Her work is rooted in consultative selling, leveraging data insights and relationship-building to drive sustainable revenue and customer satisfaction. With over a decade of professional experience spanning sales, administration, and project coordination, Tricia brings a well-rounded perspective to her role. She began her career in project management and sales support positions, where she developed strong operational, organizational, and client service skills. Motivated to take on a more visible, revenue-driven role, she transitioned into medical sales—a move that allowed her to fully utilize her strengths in communication and relationship development. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to strong relationship-building, consistency, discipline, and resilience. I remain committed to showing up and putting in the work, even during times when progress feels slow, knowing that sustained effort ultimately drives meaningful results.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to not wait until you feel 100% ready—confidence comes from taking action. Stay consistent, follow through, and don’t be afraid to take up space. You can be both professional and personable, and that balance is powerful.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is navigating uncertainty due to company restructuring, which has impacted my medical sales division and future role stability. However, this shift also presents an opportunity for growth—I’m focusing on building my personal brand and expanding my travel business, including launching my website and securing approval for my Amazon storefront.
