Q

What do you attribute your success to?

Resilience. Purpose. A fundamental belief in the power of change. These are the attributes that I believe lead to success. My personal and professional trials have afforded me invaluable insight and an even greater determination to produce work that truly matters. What I have learned through these experiences is that to be successful doesn't mean that you will never fail or encounter hardships, but that you stay focused, pick yourself up, and bounce back stronger than ever.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most valuable piece of advice I've ever gotten is: Don't just build a career, build a life. It's about finding work that's meaningful and in line with your values, and that helps you grow as a person, not just a professional. By prioritizing authenticity — doing work that's true to who you are — you're setting yourself up for success in a deeper, more sustainable way.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Know that your voice, your ideas and your energy matter. The wellness and biz world can feel competitive and cutthroat, but there is room for authentic, heart-centered leadership. Don’t wait to be told it’s OK to start—just start small, stay curious and surround yourself with people who elevate and challenge you. Most of all, take care of your own wellness first; you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The wellness industry is transforming at a lightning speed, taking science, community and whole care to new directions. One problem is penetrating the superficial fads to offer real, research-backed well-being. The biggest opportunity is also that - to create spaces and experiences that truly feed the mind, body and soul. People are hungry for authenticity and connection, and that's the future of wellness.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are determination and faith. I am deeply committed to growth, wellness, and integrity, which is reflected in my work as a herbalist. I follow the principles of the American Herbalist Guild and Herbalist USA, ensuring that my practices honor both the plants I work with and the people I serve.
