Tricia Hill is a seasoned healthcare and higher education administration professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting complex operations, programs, and organizational initiatives. Based in Houston, Texas, she serves as a Senior Administrative Coordinator at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), where she supports the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences (CCTS). Throughout her career, Tricia has progressed through increasingly responsible administrative roles, building extensive expertise in operational coordination, financial administration, executive support, and stakeholder engagement.

In her current role, Tricia provides strategic administrative support for major CCTS initiatives involving leadership across the UT System, partner institutions, and external organizations. Her responsibilities include coordinating schedules, meetings, travel, procurement, financial processes, and program activities while ensuring compliance with university, governmental, and grant requirements. 03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be yourself and be true to who you are. You can lead from wherever you are without a title. Empower the women you work with, focus on your work but also take time for yourself and maintain work-life balance. Know how to deal with different personalities and egos by being authentic.
