About Trina

Trina Turner serves as nurse manager at Christiana Care Health Center in Delaware and as co-founder and CEO of Holistic Integrative Consulting, where she provides life coaching, spiritual coaching, and nurse coaching. She began her healthcare career 33 years ago in 1991, progressing from medical assistant to LPN for 10 years, then becoming an RN in 2002, and earning her associates, bachelor's, master's, and finally her doctorate in nursing in 2023. Turner is board-certified as a critical care nurse, a certified nurse educator, and holds certifications in legal nurse consulting and tobacco treatment. As an adjunct professor at Delaware State University, she mentors nursing students while maintaining leadership roles for 15 years. Her professional affiliations include the American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Delaware Organization of Nurse Leaders, and others, along with board service for the Delaware Prostate Cancer Coalition. She has received recognition as a Delaware Today Top Nurse for five consecutive years and contributes to community efforts with the March of Dimes, Kidney Association, and American Cancer Society.
