About Trisha

Trisha George serves as a Driver’s License Center Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where she leads a team of 14 examiners and examiner assistants and ensures the delivery of essential public services with professionalism and clarity. With more than two decades of experience, she brings a strong foundation in logistics, customer service, and public‑sector operations, beginning her career in clerical logistics and shipping and receiving after completing high school through an alternative education program.

A U.S. Army veteran, Trisha enlisted following the events of September 11 and served as a Logistics Specialist from 2009 to 2015. Her military service strengthened the discipline, adaptability, and leadership qualities that continue to define her work today. After transitioning out of the military, she faced significant personal challenges related to substance abuse, which she courageously overcame. Now celebrating seven years clean, she considers her recovery one of her greatest accomplishments and uses her experience to mentor and encourage others, especially women navigating recovery and personal transformation.

Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, Trisha is pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at Strayer University. Her journey reflects persistence, faith, education, and resilience, values that guide both her leadership and her personal life. Her Interview

Ten minutes with Trisha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to persistence, faith, education, and the influence of people who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. My journey has shown me that resilience is forged in the hardest seasons and that refusing to give up is often what moves a life forward. After six years in the U.S. Army as a Logistics Specialist, I faced personal challenges, including addiction, but I rebuilt my life and now have over seven years of continuous clean time. Today, I maintain a full‑time career leading a team of public servants while completing my bachelor’s degree. My success comes from choosing growth, staying grounded in faith, continuing to learn, and surrounding myself with people who push me to become the strongest version of myself.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Nothing is impossible when you rely on faith, discipline, and effort to rise to any challenge. The best career advice I ever received was to invest in myself, lead with integrity, stay committed to learning, and find purpose.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never. Give. Up.
