About Trisha

Trisha Shank is a dedicated Case Manager and paralegal specializing in workers’ compensation cases at Jonathan Perkins Injury Lawyers in Bristol, Connecticut. Trisha began her legal career as a receptionist at a motor vehicle and personal injury law firm before advancing to a case manager role, where she handled pre-litigation cases. Trisha enrolled in college in September 2022 and earned her associate degree in paralegal studies with a remarkable 4.0 GPA. She is also preparing to launch a photography business, combining her creativity with her entrepreneurial spirit. Her Interview

Ten minutes with Trisha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my children and my desire to give them a better life. Despite growing up with parents who struggled with addiction, I continued pushing through every challenge to show my children that with determination and perseverance, they can overcome adversity and achieve anything they set their minds to.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is simple: don’t give up on your dreams. When I decided to become a paralegal, I pursued formal education because I wanted the knowledge and skills, despite others questioning the need for a degree. While working full-time, raising three children, and recovering from three knee surgeries, I completed college online and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. My journey taught me that perseverance can help you overcome even the greatest obstacles.
