Her Story
About Tweety
I started off as a teen blogger running Young, Hip, and Chic, which highlighted the power of being a girl, fashion, beauty, and trending topics like Gossip Girl. My parents are media professionals who owned Infinite Magazine, one of the first online publications, and I followed in their footsteps learning during the pivot to digital. I did freelance writing for Ask Cosmo, InStyle, and XO Nicole, then became senior lifestyle editor at BET Digital under Paramount CBS. I co-created Brown Style Magazine with my sister Emery Lee Elitou, serving as editor-in-chief of this print and digital lifestyle publication covering fashion, beauty, culture, and travel.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never give up on your goals. Storytelling is so important. If there's something that you're truly passionate about and you want to help people tell their stories authentically, then I think you need to go towards it as your career goal.
