Her Interview

Ten minutes with Twisha

01What do you attribute your success to?

Independence in general is what's super important to me. I feel like if there is nothing that is there to support me, and no person there to support me, that I look inward, and that I'm able to support myself. And I'm not just talking about financially, right? I'm just talking about emotionally. I'm talking about from a health standpoint, etc. I want to find inner strength. And I think that's super important for me, and that's a big driving factor to make sure that I'm able to do some of these things without having somebody already holding my hand at all times.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My best advice would be be brave, be strong, and go out and get things that people tell you you can't. That's something that I used personally, and I'm so glad that I did.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is going to do wonderful things, but it's unfortunate we're seeing it's at the cost of people and their livelihood.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Independence is super important to me, both financially and emotionally. I prioritize taking care of myself through health, food, and exercise because as women we tend to put ourselves last. I am the CFO of the house, focusing on financial literacy and investments. Giving back to women through networks and sessions on professional development, financial literacy, and health and wellness is also key.
