About Tyheisha
Tyheisha Wortham an Iowa native is the Owner and Independent Medical Courier Contractor of Wortham Remedy Runners, a healthcare transportation business focused on the safe, professional, and efficient delivery of medical packages. She launched the company in August 2025, her infectious smile and giving heart shows in the excellent customer service she provides, bringing extensive healthcare experience and a strong understanding of medical environments to her work. Her background includes approximately 15 years in healthcare, including experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes and hospitals, as well as federal employment, including work with the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Wortham combines her healthcare knowledge with business and entrepreneurial training. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations, with an emphasis in Entrepreneur Development, at Colorado Technical University. She also holds CNA and CMA certifications, along with HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications. Her eight years of service in the Army Reserves further strengthened her discipline, professionalism, responsibility, and ability to operate effectively in demanding environments. She also received recognition through publication in Essence Magazine year 97' issue during high school. As an entrepreneur, Wortham is committed to providing dependable healthcare transportation while building meaningful professional relationships. She attributes her success to hard work, due diligence, consistency, and being purposeful in every connection she makes. She believes patience, passion, and service should guide both professional and personal interactions. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work and due diligence. I bring that mindset into my everyday work and strive to be purposeful in every connection I make with others. Building meaningful relationships and approaching each opportunity with intention have contributed significantly to my professional growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to remain consistent and surround myself with like-minded people. Staying committed to my goals while building relationships with people who share similar values and ambitions has helped me continue moving forward.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this field is to do thorough research before getting started. Take the time to understand the industry, map out how you want to execute your plans, and then remain consistent. Preparation, persistence, and a clear strategy can make a significant difference when building a career or business.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is competing as a small business against larger companies with greater resources and established networks. At the same time, this creates an opportunity to build relationships and collaborate with other small businesses. Networking and creating strong partnerships can help small businesses strengthen their presence and grow together.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are patience, passion, and service. I believe these values are essential both in serving clients professionally and in maintaining meaningful relationships personally.
