Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tyra
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Take what you need and leave the rest. That has really allowed me to be open-minded in my personal life and in my career. And it allowed me to learn and fail and keep learning and thinking of ideas to implement.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If they feel that they can translate their experiences to help other people that they should. And if they don't have experiences, that there are skills that you can gain, or may already have, that you can use to really help other people, and people need it.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, learning, and creativity. I really value integrity. I value learning. I really harp to everyone that we're all lifelong students. I consider myself to be a creator or creative.
