Tyra Graddy is a dedicated Supplier Performance Analyst at Corewell Health, where she leverages her expertise in manufacturing process improvement and problem-solving to enhance supply chain performance. In her role, she oversees supplier relationships related to medical product recalls and defective item reports, ensuring Corewell Health's compliance and efficiency in collaboration with vendors, and the FDA. With a background in Supply Chain Management (Wayne State University) and an Associate’s General Business (Macomb Community College), Tyra combines strong communication skills with technical and analytical supply chain knowledge. In my opinion, hard work and determination are the cornerstones of success. When you consistently put in the effort and stay committed to your goals, even in the face of challenges, you create opportunities and achieve results that others only dream of. Success isn’t built overnight, it’s earned through persistence, resilience, and an unwavering drive to keep moving forward.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace both courage and curiosity. Don’t be afraid to take risks, ask questions, and explore new opportunities. The more you remain curious and open to learning, the more you will grow and create your own path to success.

Recalls often involve products that directly impact patient safety, so time is critical.
