Uget Hagan

She is a dedicated finance and community development professional with a strong commitment to empowering youth and driving social impact. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst Intern at the City of Detroit, she supports financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic initiatives to inform city operations and community-focused projects. She is also the Founder and CEO of The UGET Inspires Foundation, a United Nations-endorsed NGO dedicated to empowering young people in Ghana through education, mentorship, and community engagement, where she has secured resources for over 1,500 young people to succeed academically and gain financial literacy. She was selected as a 2025 Possibilities Summit Fellow at Goldman Sachs and serves as Vice President of Marketing and Engagement for the Soka Finance Society, where she generates synopses through the Soka Business Review and secures partnerships for society members. She also serves as Patron Services Assistant at Soka Performing Arts Center, managing front-of-house operations and ensuring seamless guest experiences. She is studying Business Information Technology at Soka University of America. She is recognized as a visionary, compassionate, and impact-driven leader who combines financial acumen with a deep commitment to creating opportunities and transforming lives in underserved communities.
