Her Story

About Urvi

I’ve spent over a decade in the technology industry, building my career around enterprise technology delivery, digital transformation, and leadership across complex business environments. Starting from a strong technical and operational foundation, I gradually transitioned into program and project leadership roles where I bridge business strategy with technical execution.

Currently, I work as a Technical Project and Program Manager at Prama, leading AI, cloud transformation, and enterprise modernization initiatives. My experience spans technology delivery, AI-driven platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data warehousing, where I collaborate closely with architecture, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to drive large-scale initiatives from strategy to execution.

One of the areas I’m most proud of is leading complex cross-functional transformation programs that create meaningful business impact while navigating fast-paced and evolving technologies. I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to innovative AI and enterprise modernization projects that continue to shape how organizations scale and transform.

I’m also PMP certified, which was an important milestone in my professional journey and reflects my passion for leadership, operational excellence, and continuous growth.

Beyond my role, I’m passionate about innovation, mentorship, and creating environments where teams can collaborate, grow, and deliver impactful solutions.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Urvi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, curiosity, and consistency. Moving to a new country and building a career in technology taught me very early that growth comes from being willing to adapt, learn quickly, and keep moving forward even when things feel uncertain.

I’ve also been fortunate to have strong mentors, supportive people around me, and a family that constantly encouraged me to aim higher. But above all, I believe success comes from how you show up every day — staying dependable, embracing challenges, and continuing to evolve both personally and professionally.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was: “Don’t chase success, focus on becoming valuable.”

That perspective completely changed how I approached my career. Instead of focusing only on titles or recognition, I focused on building skills, solving problems, and creating impact wherever I could. Over time, I realized that opportunities naturally follow people who consistently bring value, stay reliable, and lead with integrity.

It’s advice I still carry with me today in every project, team, and leadership role.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t underestimate the power of your voice. In technology, technical skills matter, but confidence, communication, and the ability to lead conversations are what truly help you stand out.

Be open to taking on challenges before you feel “fully ready.” Some of the biggest growth moments in your career will come from opportunities that initially feel uncomfortable. The industry is constantly evolving, and the people who succeed are the ones willing to adapt, stay curious, and keep learning.

Most importantly, don’t try to fit into the room; bring something new to it.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in the technology industry right now is the rapid evolution of AI and how it is transforming the way businesses operate, make decisions, and innovate. We’re at a point where organizations are rethinking everything, from enterprise operations to customer experiences, and technology leaders have the opportunity to drive meaningful, large-scale impact.

At the same time, one of the biggest challenges is keeping up with the pace of change. Technology is evolving faster than ever, and companies are not only trying to adopt new innovations, but also figuring out how to scale them responsibly, securely, and effectively across enterprise environments.

I also believe there’s a huge opportunity for more diverse leadership in technology. Different perspectives lead to stronger innovation, better collaboration, and more inclusive solutions. As the industry continues to evolve, leaders who can combine technical understanding with communication, adaptability, and people-focused leadership will have the greatest impact.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I would say integrity, resilience, and empathy are the values that define both my work and my personal life. Over time, I’ve realized that success is not just about what you achieve, but about who you become through the process.

I believe integrity is about staying true to your values even when no one is watching. Resilience is what allows you to keep rebuilding, adapting, and moving forward through uncertainty. And empathy is what keeps ambition meaningful, because no achievement matters much if you lose your humanity along the way.

Moving across countries, navigating challenges, and growing within fast-paced industries taught me that leadership is less about authority and more about presence, trust, and the ability to uplift the people around you.

At the end of the day, I want my success to be measured not only by the projects I deliver or the titles I earn, but by the impact I create and the people who felt supported, inspired, or empowered after crossing paths with me.
