Her Story
About Vaishali
My career journey has been defined by exploration and adaptability across creative and technology fields. I started my career around 2020, and over the past six years, I've evolved from textile design to graphics design and finally to product design, always viewing my work through the perspective of design and creativity. What's been most exciting is how I've been able to explore different domains and industries - from fashion to nonprofit organizations to fintech, and now I'm working at GoDaddy, a domain company. Throughout all these different professional environments, I've found that there has always been an open forum for me to speak my mind, and I've never been told to stop expressing myself. This has been something I learned recently that's important - to never stop yourself from speaking out, whether it's personal or professional, as it helps in both aspects. My creative foundation goes back to high school when I was deeply into paintings, and that passion has evolved throughout my career. I believe it's important for professionals not to get stuck in one place but to remain open to exploring what's out there, keeping your interests alive while not necessarily doing everything. Technology has been constantly evolving, and being adaptive has made my thinking more exciting and broader throughout my life.

Ten minutes with Vaishali
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think passion and hard work have worked wonderfully for me. Passion is something that makes me stay awake doing new things - even today at work, if I get some new projects or initiatives to work on, or new strategies to work on, I have so much passion that I can work all day long. It's what makes me keep going and keeps me motivated to do more and more. That drive and enthusiasm for what I do has really been the foundation of everything I've accomplished.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would definitely say that you should never think that you don't have worth - you definitely have worth, no matter what others are doing. You have to know yourself and never stop exploring and trying new things, because this is how you learn about yourself more. For example, doing simple things like cooking or trying new recipes helps you learn more about yourself. Never stop getting past those fears that many of us have in our young age. When I was around 20 or 21, I was pretty scared of doing things, and I wish I had someone telling me not to stop exploring and to just keep doing new things to learn about yourself and move forward. So my advice is: don't let fear hold you back, keep exploring, and keep discovering who you are through new experiences.
