Valentyna Bartolotte
Valentyna Bartolotte is a Senior Account Executive at ezCater, where she helps restaurant brands expand and optimize their catering operations through the company’s food-for-work marketplace. In her role, she partners with restaurant operators to connect them with corporate clients, including hospitals, technology companies, and major organizations. By doing so, she helps restaurants unlock new revenue streams and streamline their catering programs for long-term growth.
Her work centers on building strong relationships with partners, guiding them through the sales process, and positioning them for success in an increasingly competitive food service landscape.
Valentyna began her career in sales in 2019 after graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Aurora University. While she originally planned to pursue a CPA and follow a traditional accounting path, an unexpected opportunity with Grubhub introduced her to tech sales. It quickly became clear that the field aligned naturally with her strengths in communication, relationship building, and networking. Since then, she has held business development and enterprise sales roles across several technology-driven organizations, gaining experience across industries including food service, SaaS, fintech, and digital marketplaces.
Beyond her professional achievements, Bartolotte is deeply passionate about mentorship and empowering women in the workplace. She recently helped launch the Women of ezCater employee group as a co-lead, supporting initiatives that encourage professional growth and community among female colleagues.
Inspired by her Ukrainian heritage and a strong lineage of resilient women in her family, she is driven to make a meaningful impact both professionally and personally. Bartolotte hopes to continue growing as a leader in the technology and hospitality space while creating opportunities that empower and support the next generation of women in sales and tech.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being a genuine people person and truly loving what I do. Building meaningful relationships, connecting with others, and helping people succeed has always come naturally to me. I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives and being a bright, supportive presence wherever I can. One of my greatest strengths is relationship building and networking. It has always been core to who I am. Even in college, I naturally gravitated toward roles where I could guide and support others. I served as a peer advisor and ambassador, helping recruit and mentor students while creating connections that made people feel welcomed and supported. I also hold myself to a high standard because I care deeply about doing things the right way and making a meaningful impact. That mindset pushes me to constantly grow, improve, and show up as the best version of myself. At the end of the day, everything I do is rooted in my desire to help people and make a difference. I believe that is why sales came so naturally to me, even though I never originally expected to pursue this career path. For me, sales has always been about trust, relationships, and creating real value for the people you work with.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never give up, always ask questions, and believe in yourself even when things feel uncertain. Growth rarely happens when you stay comfortable, so being curious and willing to ask questions has always helped me learn faster and build stronger relationships along the way. I also believe that having someone who believes in you can make all the difference. Sometimes that belief comes from a mentor, a leader, a friend, or a family member, and sometimes it has to come from yourself. Knowing that even one person sees your potential can give you the confidence to keep going, especially during challenging moments. That advice has stuck with me throughout my career. Persistence, curiosity, and self belief have helped guide many of the opportunities and relationships that have shaped where I am today.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in yourself and never shrink who you are to fit into a space. Stay true to what you believe in, trust your voice, and keep pushing forward even when things feel challenging. There will always be moments where you question yourself or feel like you have to prove your place in the room. In those moments, remember that you deserve to be there just as much as anyone else. Your ideas, perspective, and leadership matter. Do not be afraid to speak up, ask questions, and take up space. Confidence grows through action, and every step you take builds the foundation for the next woman who comes after you.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, integrity, and meaningful human connection are at the core of who I am. I believe that everything unfolds for a reason, and that moments of delay or redirection often guide us exactly where we are meant to be. As the daughter of Ukrainian immigrants, I was raised by an extraordinary lineage of strong, resilient women who continuously supported and empowered me. Their strength shaped my belief that women can create meaningful change and leave a lasting impact in every space they enter. Making a difference has always been deeply important to me. I want to build a life and career that one day my children can look at and say, “My mom did that.” I want them to see that being a woman, especially in industries like sales and technology, is not a limitation but an opportunity to lead, innovate, and create real impact. Supporting and uplifting women is something I’m deeply passionate about, which is why I co-founded the Women of ezCater group. Creating spaces where women feel empowered, supported, and inspired is incredibly meaningful to me. I strive to be a positive force in the lives of others, whether that’s through my clients, colleagues, friends, or family. If I can leave people feeling supported, inspired, and seen, then I know I’m doing something right.
