Holding a doctorate from Capella University and a master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, she pairs academic excellence with real-world execution. Her career spans retail, operations, and distribution leadership roles, where she has consistently driven performance, developed teams, and delivered customer-focused results across nationally recognized organizations.

In addition to her executive and management experience, Dr. Holt brings a growing technical skill set to her work, recently earning CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (CIOS) certifications. What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the determination of a 16-year-old girl who started working at PetSmart and, through years of hard work, education, and perseverance, grew into a leader—now proudly serving as a Store Manager at ADI, thriving in both sales and operations, and finding purpose in mentoring others and sharing my story.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that by telling my story, I can make a real difference in the lives of others—especially young girls.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in your potential—stay the course, work hard, and never give up on creating a bright future for yourself.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is being in a new leadership role and having the chance to make a difference by watching those I’ve trained grow, gain confidence, and truly flourish.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are the belief in education and lifelong learning—no matter where you start, you can always finish strong—as I continue pursuing my PhD in Business, while also giving back to my community through service in the City of Tualatin and the Pride Committee.
