About Valerie
Valerie Valenti has built a career spanning government service and holistic wellness. She began in the court system for 4 years, entering information into computer systems and assisting the public with criminal cases. She then worked for 9 years in the legal department of the state, processing claims and petitions while assisting the Office of Chief Counsel. Most recently she assisted the public at the Social Security Administration with benefits and health insurance. Since 2017 she has run Healing Energy Reiki LLC, offering holistic energy healing, sound therapy, cupping, foot baths, and life coaching. She earned an associate degree from Lackawanna College and holds certifications as a life coach, sound therapist, and Reiki levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. She is currently seeking business development opportunities that leverage her relationship building and administrative experience.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't be afraid of failure, because if you're not failing, that means you're not trying. Failure is part of success. Don't sell yourself short. Believe in who you are. It's a continuous life journey. I've used my personal struggles to earn certifications and flip them to the positive to offer to others.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Follow your passions and dreams, set goals for yourself. Take care of yourself first because once you do that, it's a ripple effect. Healing yourself one step at a time is a life journey and the most important one.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges would be to look for something that inspires my passion and abilities to the best interest of what I'm seeking as far as for growing. Looking for that ideal situation, collaborating with people, and utilizing my skills.
