Her Interview
Ten minutes with VALLI
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from learning, curiosity, and consistency. I show up for myself, not to prove anything to others. Family support, mentors, and community organizations have been key. Every person works hard, but the difference is in continuous learning and embracing opportunities.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A Buddhist monk shared a story about happiness being placed in the human brain because people are too smart to find it elsewhere. It reminds me that happiness is already within us, and we often overlook simple daily joys like walking in the park or time with family.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stop waiting until you feel ready. Start today, make mistakes, and learn from them. Networking is crucial - reach out to people in your niche through community or LinkedIn. Build connections and find mentors who share your mindset.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity is that storytelling is more accessible than ever thanks to AI and digital tools, allowing organizations of all sizes to connect with their communities. The challenge is maintaining authenticity, as technology cannot replace genuine human experience and trust.
