Vanda Dash: Because sustainable success, the kind that fulfills you, not just professionally but as a whole person, comes from alignment, from knowing yourself deeply and taking action.

What does being an Influential Woman mean to you?

Vanda Dash: For me, influence has never been about visibility or position. It's not about how many people follow you or how loud your voice is in a room. I believe influence is about being so rooted who you are that others remember who they are when they're near you. It is the woman who works on herself, who looks honestly and sees what's holding her back, who doesn't avoid the uncomfortable questions and takes aligned actions from that clarity and self-awareness, not action driven by pressure or fear, action that comes from truly knowing who you are and what you stand for. Because that kind of presence cannot be performed, people feel it, and when they feel it, they give themselves permission to show up more fully too. That is the influence that matters. Not pushing, not forcing just being so grounded in yourself that it creates space for others to do the same.

What's one piece of advice you would give to younger women chasing their dreams?

Vanda Dash: My advice is to shift from chasing to becoming. So often we are so focused on the goal, the next milestone, the achievement, and we lose sight of the most important foundation ourselves. As a coach, I see this pattern constantly high achieving women who are brilliant, capable, and driven. But they are operating from pressure rather than purpose, from expectation. Rather than alignment. So my invitation to younger women is this before you ask, what do I need to do, who do I need to become, get clear on your values. Understand what drives your decisions, build self-awareness that allows you to lead from grounded intentional place rather than a reactive one. Because sustainable success, the kind that fulfills you, not just professionally but as a whole person, comes from alignment, from knowing yourself deeply and taking action. That reflects that. Ambition and inner peace are not opposites. You don't have to choose between being highly effective and being deeply human. The women who truly thrive are the ones who invest in both.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Vanda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to presence, curiosity, and consistency. Being present allows me to stay grounded, truly listen, and make intentional decisions that align with my values and goals. Curiosity motivates me to continually learn from diverse people, cultures, and ways of working, which broadens my perspective and strengthens my impact as a coach and project manager. Consistency, especially during periods of transition, has helped me build trust, credibility, and sustained results over time.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

That former employer and mentor taught me to work smart, not just hard, and to stay present rather than forcing a path. They showed me that meaningful impact comes from clarity, prioritization, and thoughtful effort, not constant overexertion. Their guidance helped me slow down, focus on what truly matters, and allow my career to unfold with greater intention and alignment.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to seek out mentorship, embrace vulnerability as a strength, and pursue leadership opportunities that align with your values. You don’t have to choose between ambition and inner peace; it is possible to lead in a way that is both highly effective and deeply grounded in humanity.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Relentless complexity, shifting priorities, cross-functional dependencies, tight deadlines, and constant disruption are challenges that drive burnout and disconnects leaders from their purpose. PMs face delivery risks and stakeholder pressure without enough space to breathe, while leaders grapple with endless pivots that leave them reacting rather than leading intentionally.

The opportunity lies in human-centered leadership that bridges execution with inner alignment. In PM, this means structured processes balancing speed and sustainability; in coaching, it’s creating space for clarity, resilience, and values-driven decisions. As a woman navigating fintech’s high-stakes world, I see huge potential in inclusive cultures where people deliver exceptional results without losing themselves, leading from wholeness for truly sustainable impact.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Presence, integrity, and wholeness are the values that guide me most. Presence allows me to meet life and work as they are and creates clarity. Integrity keeps my actions aligned with what I believe. Wholeness reminds me that meaningful impact comes from integration honoring both the human and professional sides of who we are.

Sustainable ambition isn't about doing less, it's about building performance on presence rather than force. As an ICF coach and fintech PM, I see how high performers fracture when constantly overriding capacity.
