About Vanessa
I am the CEO and founder of IMC Mentoring, also known as I Am She Girls Mentoring. I've been in this field since 2018, focusing on mentoring girls in self-esteem, character building, personal hygiene, and preparing them for college. Our faith-based organization teaches them how to pray and have a relationship with the Lord. We hold girls' enrichment sessions every other Saturday at my home office, bring in guest speakers, partner with schools, and provide resources like hygiene products because many parents are unable to teach these skills due to their own trauma.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Well, first of all, patience. You just can't look to just do a, just a bam or a whammy on it. It takes time, it takes research, but more so, it takes patience. When you get that, everything else is gonna fall into place.
