Vanessa Parker

Vanessa Parker serves as Co-Founder and COO of Pump For Joy, where she contributes her operations expertise to a femtech startup she joined a year and a half after its founding. The company is developing the first biodegradable single-use breast milk flange, enabling new moms to pump, dispose, and continue their day without cleaning parts when returning to work. Parker also co-owns Divas in Defense with her husband, a business they have operated for over 16 years that licenses self-defense training programs for women and girls, currently with five licensees across different cities. Her educational background includes a business marketing major at Macon State in Macon, Georgia, from which she graduated in 2004. She maintains membership in the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Tampa Bay Chapter.
