Vanessa F. Oldfield

Vanessa Oldfield is a seasoned insurance professional with over 21 years of experience at Travelers, currently serving as a Senior Account Underwriter. Known for her structured yet adaptable approach, Vanessa specializes in ERISA Fidelity insurance and has built a strong track record in securing new business—most recently earning recognition for writing the most new accounts in her division.

Vanessa holds a Master of Business Administration from Widener University (2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Organizational Management from Gwynedd Mercy University (2013), graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning placement on the Dean’s List. She is also a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda, an honor society recognizing adult learners for academic excellence.

A self-motivated learner and natural relationship builder, Vanessa is committed to personal growth and knowledge-sharing. She previously hosted a podcast from 2023–2024 and is currently developing a new series centered on suicide prevention—reflecting her deep care for mental health advocacy and community well-being.

She actively supports organizations such as the National Association of Black Military, and is a former member of NAAIA (National African American Insurance Association). Outside of work, she is planning an impactful journey to South Africa in spring 2026, continuing her passion for learning through global experiences.
