Varsha Jagannath

I am a healthcare IT executive with over three decades of experience in information technology leadership, enterprise systems integration, and strategic planning, currently serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Inova Health System, a role I have held since September 2021, where I lead IT strategy, technology integration, and succession planning for one of the nation's leading healthcare systems.

Prior to this role, I served as Associate CIO of IT Business Systems at Atrius Health for nearly seven years, where I was responsible for five key departments within IT, including Clinical Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Systems, Database Administration, Web Applications, and Client Services, played a key role in the IBM Watson and Atrius Health joint initiative, led the successful integration of administrative applications of three merged nonprofit healthcare organizations, created and led IT governance committees, and negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts with healthcare software vendors realizing significant savings.

Earlier in my career, I spent over ten years at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, an affiliate of Atrius Health, in progressively responsible roles, including Director of IT Business Systems for over four years, where I led the Enterprise Clinical Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform, integrated new payer data including CMS for the Pioneer ACO initiative, implemented a large-scale engineered platform for real-time data delivery to five hundred clinicians, coordinated a three-million-dollar effort to implement the Oracle HR suite, and reduced payroll cycle costs annually. I also served as Manager of IT Business Applications and Data Warehouse for nearly seven years, where I implemented and maintained stable production environments of Clinical Data Warehouse, ERP applications, and Web applications, led a major ERP platform upgrade, implemented the Kronos Time and Attendance Application for four thousand five hundred employees, and negotiated vendor contracts ranging from five hundred thousand to two million dollars.

Earlier in my career, I served as Principal Consultant at Keane Inc for over six years, working with clients including Boston Equiserve and Biogen Idec, and as a Software Engineer and Consultant at IGATE for five years, working with GE Capital, Lockheed Martin, and Data General.

I hold an Executive MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai.
