Her Interview
Ten minutes with Vera
01What do you attribute your success to?
Myself, just being me. I'm a very hard worker and I give it my all everywhere I go. I like to work.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
From my sister: don't fear to move on, don't think you're worth more. You are. Some people are scared to change careers because they don't think they can get more.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just be yourself, and show what you are, and if they like it, they like it. If they don't, move on.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
No room to move up at this place. Would love to move up but there's nowhere to go.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My family is the most important, that comes first. I have 3 beautiful kids, they're all adults now, but I still cherish them.
