Vernell Johnson

Vernell Johnson is an educational consultant and publisher with over 21 years of experience in international education. She is currently building her own educational consulting and publishing business, where she creates digital foreign language courses for international schools, with a focus on Arabic B curriculum and upcoming Spanish offerings. Johnson also develops socio-emotional learning curriculum for middle school girls, drawing from her extensive background teaching in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and International Baccalaureate schools in North Carolina. She holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Wisconsin, began studies at the University of Maryland, pursued Arabic studies in Egypt, and studied Islamic law in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish, Johnson incorporates cultural wisdom from her global travels and experiences into her curriculum design. In addition to her professional work, she volunteers with the Pearls teen girls ministry at The Park church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
