Her Story

About Veronica

I have a wellness practice where I specialize in areas that are often overlooked in traditional healthcare settings. With my urology background, I focus heavily on sexual health, which I believe is not discussed enough in primary care and internal medicine. I offer rejuvenation services using PRP therapy for women going through hormonal changes, whether they've had a child or are experiencing perimenopause or menopause. I help address issues like vaginal dryness, painful sex, and low libido. I also provide similar treatments for men suffering from erectile dysfunction. In addition to sexual health, I work extensively with weight management and weight loss, helping both men and women who are experiencing unexplained weight gain despite maintaining healthy lifestyles. I use a combination of weight loss medications and hormone level adjustments to help my clients achieve their goals. What I love most about my work is seeing the transformation in my clients. After about three months, they become new people - I can see it in their confidence, how they speak, the clothing they wear, and their body language. I'm really passionate about being a resource for people, especially for issues like perimenopause and menopause that previous generations had to suffer through without proper support. I believe in meeting my clients face-to-face at least once because I'm big on energy, and I need to make sure we're a right fit for each other. I'm not a practitioner who will just see anyone - the connection matters.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say be mindful of the people you meet. Networking is important. Having a business partner can be beneficial because you can bounce ideas off of one another, but you also need a business mentor - not necessarily someone that will always be around, but maybe having just that person or people or group that you can go to and refer to when needed. That's huge. And really, to just do it. If it's something that you are wanting to do, and you feel like it's something that's positive, but you just don't know how to start, just get out there. Come up with a business name, apply for your LLC, and figure the rest out.
