About Veronica
Veronica ClayCadue serves as Senior Trainer at the VPR Patient Outreach Program, a role to which she was promoted in 2025 after five years with the company. In this position, she works with pharmaceutical companies including Sanofi, Blueprint Medicines, and Takeda Oncology to support patients across approximately 20 to 25 rare disease spaces. Veronica interviews individuals living with these conditions, transforms their experiences into FDA and FTC compliant scripts for live presentations or videos, coaches the speakers to deliver compliant yet inspiring and story-driven talks, and attends programs nationwide to ensure their success. Prior to this, she spent two years at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art working with volunteers after graduating from Rockhurst University, where she studied English, writing, literature, and composition. She also maintains her own business, Veronica Clay LLC, through which she has published a book and continues her passion for writing and storytelling. Veronica credits her professional achievements to a commitment to self-advocacy, recognizing her own worth, and consistently tracking her successes, particularly as a woman of color navigating her career.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Self-advocacy has to happen. This has to happen for all people, it has to happen for all women, but I think especially, you know, as women, as women of color. We have to advocate for ourselves. Knowing your worth. Track your successes.
