About Veronica
Veronica R. Keenan is an award-winning Area Sales Manager at Capital One Auto, where she specializes in automotive finance, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and revenue growth. She has built a diverse career in the automotive and financial services industries, beginning with Enterprise Car Sales in 2006, where she progressed through sales and people leadership roles. She later transitioned to automotive lending, serving as an Area Sales Manager and Automotive Loan Originations & Credit Analyst at Gateway One Lending & Finance before joining Capital One in 2017. In her current role, she works closely with dealership partners across Northeast and Central Pennsylvania, providing consultative guidance, lending solutions, and digital tools designed to support dealership performance and customer experiences.
Keenan is recognized for her results-driven yet relationship-focused leadership style. Her experience on both the selling and lending sides of the automotive business gives her a practical understanding of dealership operations and allows her to approach client relationships with empathy, accountability, and a strong focus on delivering value. At Capital One, she has earned numerous distinctions, including Chairman & Presidents Club in 2026, Area Sales Manager of the Year for 2025, GOAT Sales Pod recognition, Proxy Profit Millionaire Club honors, and multiple Peer Coach and mentorship awards. She also serves as an ASM Ambassador and new-hire mentor, helping develop fellow sales managers and providing feedback that supports improvements to products and internal processes.
Keenan holds a bachelor's degree in International Business (Finance) from Philadelphia University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.887 GPA, and also completed International Business and Finance studies at The American University of Rome. She is fluent in Italian and Spanish and has described herself as multilingual, with Japanese also part of her academic background. Beyond her professional achievements, Keenan places strong importance on authenticity, family, leadership, and personal growth. She has participated in women's leadership initiatives through Capital One and has volunteered in youth and school organizations, reflecting her commitment to supporting others both professionally and in her community. My family keeping me grounded, the work ethic that was instilled in me from my parents they were a wonderful benchmark, my customer service and treating people how you want to be treated, my moral compass and wanting to do better
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't let others impact your goals, focus on what you can control, tune out the noise and stay true to yourself
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid of something that is different as fear can dictate your decision making, take that leap of faith as it can lead to several open opportunities
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Navigating work life balance as a mom. Staying competitive and creating value for yourself and the company

Being true to who you are (being honest and a genuine person).
