Her Story
About Veronica
Veronica Kolibab is a business development leader, community connector, mentor, and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience helping businesses and people grow through the power of relationships.
In 2008, she founded the Martini Network, an independent networking organization that has evolved into a comprehensive Business Development Ecosystem. Today, it brings together in-person and online events, a robust business directory, business resources, the Martini Network app, and the Business Expansion Academy — an affordable coaching and development community created to help small business owners grow personally, professionally, and in business.
Veronica holds multiple certifications in personal and professional development tools and techniques, is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Certified SCORE Mentor, and has spent years mentoring business owners, professionals, organizations, and emerging leaders throughout her community.
She is also a longtime St. Lucie County Chamber Ambassador, a three-time Ambassador of the Year, and currently serves as St. Lucie Chapter Chair for the Treasure Coast Builders Association. She also co-founded the Fort Pierce Business Exchange and has helped launch and support numerous community initiatives. She was also the Valedictorian for her St Lucie Leadership Class 41.
Her work has earned recognition throughout the Treasure Coast, including being named WFLX FOX 29’s 2026 Viewers’ Choice Best Local Influencer. In 2025, the Martini Network was the winner of the Promotional & Advertisement Category at the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce’s 39th Annual Business & Industry Awards.
Professionally, Veronica serves as Regional Director of Business Development for Project LIFT, a Florida nonprofit helping at-risk teens and young adults ages 14–25 redirect at-risk behaviors through skilled-trades training — including carpentry, welding, HVAC, electrical, automotive, marine mechanics, metal fabrication and more — all through the lens of mental health and sobriety.
At the heart of everything Veronica does is a simple belief: relationships matter. She believes that building strong networks, connecting people with opportunities, and genuinely helping others is one of the most powerful paths to success.
And when she isn't connecting people or championing a cause, Veronica is a passionate animal lover and supporter of local nonprofit animal rescues, including Dogs & Cats Forever and Kobe’s Cottage. She is also the proud cat mom of three rescues — Xena, Jelly, and Fiona — who, naturally, have their own TikTok channel.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Veronica
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to persistence — never giving up and always taking the next step forward. I make a point of continuously investing in my personal and professional development, and I try to stay curious and determined in everything I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received wasn't a single piece of advice so much as an example set by my mentors, Susan Harris and Jane Rowley. Over the many years I knew them, they've shown me what exceptional networking and genuine community connection look like, and that has shaped how I approach relationships in business. Both were amazing supporters and loved by more than you could count.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I'd tell young women entering this industry not to be afraid to ask for help. Building a strong network early on makes all the difference, and you don't have to figure everything out on your own.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of my biggest ongoing challenges is balancing my full-time role with building my own business. I've also encountered gender discrimination with some men within the construction industry, which is something I continue to navigate.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Self-care is important to me, along with surrounding myself with good influences. Above all, I try to be a good human being and to stay open and curious in both my work and personal life.
