Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the foundation I built in the hospitality industry, where I began my career working in a restaurant and organizing events for the CEO I now work with. That experience honed my ability to connect with people, build relationships, and engage in meaningful conversations. Today, as a Community Engagement Manager at LBC, I draw on those skills daily to foster connections and create impactful experiences for the community.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to stay open to pivoting. Embracing change and being willing to explore new directions has allowed me to grow, adapt, and uncover opportunities I might never have anticipated.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to put yourself out there and actively network. Building connections, seeking mentorship, and engaging with others in your field can open doors and accelerate your growth in ways you can’t achieve alone.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is creating projects that make a tangible impact in the community. For example, I’m working on a podcast platform that highlights creative talent in the Philadelphia area, connecting people and fostering real change. The challenge lies in finding and collaborating with the right creative individuals who share the same vision and drive for meaningful community impact.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression. As a yoga teacher who spent time in India deepening my practice, I’ve learned the importance of balance and presence. I also love dance and music, which inspire me to bring joy, energy, and authenticity to everything I do.
