For young women entering the finance industry, I would advise seeking out mentors, building diverse experience, and asking questions early and often. I’ve found that making a meaningful impact not only strengthens your skills but also builds trust, reputation, and opens doors to new opportunities. The best advice I’ve personally received is to keep going, focus on doing what you do best, and never let anyone diminish your potential.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
“Right now, our biggest challenge is balancing speed with accuracy. Loan operations move fast, but every detail still matters. The opportunity lies in improving communication, leveraging better technology, and building teams that are trained, supported, and aligned. When those pieces work together, we can reduce errors, increase efficiency, and deliver a stronger, more reliable client experience.”
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are dedication, balance, and family. As a mother of two active sons, ages 12 and 10, I’m motivated by supporting their growth and passions, which include basketball and soccer. Outside of work, I enjoy running and am even considering training for a marathon next year. My family is my greatest source of drive and inspiration, guiding both my professional focus and personal commitments.
