01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Whatever your passion is, go after it. Don’t let the belief that you don’t have the “right” degree, didn’t attend the “right” school, or don’t have the traditional credentials stop you from pursuing what you truly want.

Never settle for less simply because you feel like you don’t have the qualifications to get there. A degree can open doors, but it isn’t the only path to success. Sometimes, all it takes is hard work, determination, persistence, and the willingness to keep learning and putting your best foot forward.

Believe in yourself, go after what you want, and don’t be afraid to create your own path. You are capable of achieving more than you may think.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Some of the biggest challenges in home health are scheduling, staffing coverage, and burnout among both administrative staff and clinicians. We always want to accommodate everyone, especially our patients, and provide the flexibility they need when scheduling conflicts arise. However, there are times when staffing limitations, clinician availability, or other operational demands make it difficult to accommodate every request. Finding the right balance between meeting patient needs and supporting our staff is an ongoing challenge.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My faith values are most important to me at work and in my personal life. . They guide how I treat others, approach challenges, and strive to lead and serve with integrity, compassion, and respect.
