Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the nearly 30-year journey I’ve had in banking—starting as a teller and working my way up by delivering exceptional customer service, being a strong team player, and continuously developing my leadership skills. Loving what I do and committing to lifelong learning has allowed me to grow, lead, and support others along the way.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can achieve greatness and truly make a difference by stepping up when it matters most. I lived that during COVID, when I proudly led my team to keep our staff and customers safe while continuing to meet the critical banking needs of our community.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this industry that you truly can make a difference and achieve great success—believe in yourself, lead with confidence, and know that your impact will be recognized, just as mine was during Women’s History Month in March 2025.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is balancing the responsibility of being there for everyone who needs me—both professionally and personally—while making sure I’m also present for my family, who are incredibly important to me.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are family, community, and service—I cherish spending time with my family outdoors hiking and scrapbooking, and I’m deeply passionate about giving back through my roles as Board Chair for the Boys & Girls Club in Middletown and the local homeless shelter, as well as volunteering with Pets Alive to help save animals’ lives.
