Her Story

About Victoria

I'm a Territory Sales Manager with Standard Process, a nearly 100-year-old family-owned whole food nutritional supplement company that created the first multivitamin. What I love about my role is that it's not just about sales - it's about building community and creating a movement to make an impact on humanity. I work with practitioners across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including chiropractors, acupuncturists, applied clinical nutritionists, and medical doctors, helping them support their patients' health through whole food nutrition. I focus on bringing practitioners together through dinner trainings and gatherings, creating a collective community rather than working in singularity. My approach is about helping people understand the importance of whole food nutrition and supplementation to support better health, rather than just putting a band-aid on problems with pharmaceuticals. I'm proud to have been named Top Sales Rep of the Year in 2025, which was especially meaningful because I didn't initially get this job based on my credentials on paper - I was the second choice. But when the first person didn't work out, I got hired based on my life experience, and then went on to become number one. I'm currently completing my Nutrition Therapy Practitioner certification, which I expect to finish in August or September.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my tenacity, drive, and focus - but most importantly, to focusing on other people rather than myself. It's really about helping people, and then the rest falls into place. I believe in building strong relationships immediately and instantly, which has been key throughout my career in sales. Rather than focusing on what I can get, I focus on how I can help others, and that approach has made all the difference. My success comes from leading with my heart and keeping the goal of making an impact on people's lives at the center of everything I do.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received is to find what you're passionate about, what inspires you. Be your authentic self and do what you love to do, not what you have to do. I don't think anyone specifically gave me this advice in a formal way, but it's the principle I've learned and lived by throughout my career. It's about following your passion and staying true to who you are, rather than forcing yourself into something just because you think you should.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say to lead with your heart. Always think about how you can help the other person, not how you can help yourself. Sales is really more about the person you're serving - it's about understanding their needs and guiding them to what they're looking for. When you focus on filling their needs rather than making the sale for yourself, that's when you truly succeed. It's about building genuine connections and relationships, because people can tell when you're authentic and when you genuinely care about helping them.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field right now is time management and not being able to clone myself. There's so much demand and so many unhealthy people who need help that the opportunity is enormous, but it's also overwhelming. My territory covers all of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which is pretty big, and there's just so much work to be done. The challenge is really about having enough time and resources to reach everyone who could benefit from what we offer.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are having strong relationships and being honest and authentic. These principles guide both my work and personal life. I believe in showing up as my true self and building genuine connections with people based on honesty and integrity. Authenticity isn't just something I talk about - it's how I live and work every day.
