Victoria Baker is a technology founder, AI governance strategist, and cybersecurity professional with nearly four decades of experience spanning federal government, defense, nuclear facilities, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Law from Marshall University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, she has built a distinguished career leading security, compliance, and risk management initiatives for complex IT environments. Her expertise includes AI governance and risk compliance (AI GRC), FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), hybrid cloud platforms, Storage Area Networks (SAN), backup solutions, data center operations, and information security, making her a trusted leader in highly regulated industries.

Throughout her career, Baker has held key leadership and technical roles with organizations including IBM, Rackspace Technology, stackArmor, General Dynamics Information Technology, and the Savannah River nuclear facility. At IBM, she has advised multiple product teams on FedRAMP authorization readiness, security compliance, and AI governance while serving as a Women in AI Ambassador and IBM Ambassador. Her work has focused on helping organizations strengthen cybersecurity programs, implement governance and compliance frameworks, and align emerging AI technologies with responsible risk management practices. She has also earned respected certifications in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC), AI-Enhanced Business Process Management, and Business Leadership, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Baker is the founder of a consulting agency dedicated to preparing educators and students for the future of artificial intelligence. She is currently developing EDU-AI-Q, an innovative educational platform that integrates AI, quantum computing, and robotics into K–12 learning while equipping teachers with practical AI-powered classroom tools. Passionate about expanding access to STEM education, she actively volunteers with youth technology initiatives and advocates for responsible AI adoption through organizations such as ISC2, ISACA, and Women in AI. My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in your abilities, keep learning, and never stop growing. While it remains a male-dominated field, staying informed, building your skills, and adapting to new technologies will help you succeed.

The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field are the rapid advancements in AI and the constant evolution of technology. Staying current and adapting to these changes is essential for continued success.
