Instead of just hitting a target, focus on digging deep to uncover additional needs and providing solutions that include lending, business, and investments. When you solve the client's whole problem, the growth of the banking center follows naturally.

Focus on building a strong foundation in client relationships and never stop being a "student" of the business. Continue to take on more, doing the things that make you uncomfortable and challenge you. The financial industry is about more than just transactions; it is about uncovering life priorities and preparing clients for their future goals. I would also encourage them to "build their own bench" early on—invest in the growth of those around you, as your success as a leader is directly tied to the development and career advancement of your team.

A major opportunity lies in innovation within traditional banking routines. Whether it is reimagining how we conduct morning huddles or finding new ways to retain talented team members, there is a constant need to modernize the employee and client experience. The challenge is maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance and operational soundess while simultaneously driving aggressive growth and exceeding performance targets.
