Ten minutes with Victoria
01What do you attribute your success to?
Just hard work and dedication and family support.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
It's best to gain as many skills as possible, and then as you transition in your life, it's more so a matter of putting those skills to the subject matter. So don't necessarily be afraid to take an opportunity, because every opportunity will lead to you gaining some new skills.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't necessarily let people that are trying to close the door on you stop you from progressing to the next level. Don't close the door on yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is just as a minority, progressing in a field that's not necessarily designed for us to succeed.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I really value family integrity. Hard work.
