Her Interview
Ten minutes with Victoria
01What do you attribute your success to?
I often joke that I'm a jack of all trades. I genuinely enjoy learning new things, and that curiosity has helped me adapt to a wide range of roles, industries, and challenges throughout my career. As a former military spouse, I learned early on how to navigate change, stay resilient, and make the most of new opportunities.
I attribute my success to being flexible, open to growth, and willing to take on something unfamiliar. Whether it's a new technology, a new role, or a new industry, I've found that the willingness to learn and adapt often creates the greatest opportunities for growth and success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be a team player, but don't be a yes person. Think critically, ask questions, and don't be afraid to challenge assumptions. No one has all the answers, and your perspective might be the missing piece of the puzzle.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Keep an open mind and learn everything you can. Don't be afraid to fail if you've never done something before. Growth comes from being willing to try new things, even when they're uncomfortable.
The more skills and experiences you gain, the more adaptable and resilient you become. In a constantly changing industry, the ability to learn, evolve, and embrace new opportunities is what truly sets you apart.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is changing the sales enablement landscape in a big way. One of the biggest opportunities right now is learning how to use it to work smarter, whether that's optimizing workflows, creating content more efficiently, or helping sellers ramp and learn faster.
At the same time, I don't think AI replaces the human side of enablement. It can help with research, drafts, insights, and efficiency, but it still takes people to understand what sellers need, build trust, navigate competing priorities, and turn business goals into resources that are practical and easy to use.
The enablement professionals who will thrive are the ones who embrace AI while continuing to strengthen the skills that matter most, like critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration, and understanding how to translate complex ideas into meaningful support for the field.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, trust, honesty, and a good sense of humor.
I value being genuine, building relationships based on trust, and treating people with kindness and respect. I also believe humor is an underrated professional skill. It helps people connect, makes tough situations easier to navigate, and reminds us that while our work is important, we don't always have to be so serious about it.
