Bringing 16 years of experience in retail loss prevention and asset protection, she spent nearly 15 years building her expertise at Target before joining Burlington, where her work centers on conducting store assessments, addressing theft and fraud, and safeguarding the security of both associates and customers. Prior to her retail career, Redding dedicated a decade to law enforcement, giving her a strong investigative foundation that continues to shape her approach to leadership and case resolution today.
Redding holds a master's degree in Public Safety Leadership from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from American International College, and she has further sharpened her investigative skill set through specialized interviewing training, including the Wicklander methodology. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Carolina Organized Retail Crime Association, a Tennessee-based retail association, and ASIS International, reflecting her ongoing commitment to industry collaboration and professional growth. In recognition of her contributions to the field, she has been selected for a feature with Influential Women representing Clayton, North Carolina for 2026.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Redding is deeply committed to community and animal welfare efforts, fostering dogs through Red Barn Rescue and supporting feline-focused initiatives through the Mickey Mouse Project. She credits her family — particularly her wife — as the driving force behind her achievements, and she is guided in both her career and personal life by a strong commitment to integrity, honesty, kindness, and accountability. Passionate about supporting the next generation of women in a traditionally male-dominated industry, she encourages newcomers to seek out a female mentor and to persevere despite the challenges they may encounter along the way.

Ten minutes with Victoria
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my family, who are the driving force behind everything I do — especially my wife, who has been my greatest source of support.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women entering this field to find a female mentor and to never give up. This industry can be male-dominated, so it's important not to fall into the discouragement that can sometimes come with that.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge I see in my field is technology. Not every retailer has the resources to invest in advanced equipment like updated camera systems or case management software, which creates an uneven playing field. In those situations, investigators often have to fall back on more traditional methods, like pen and paper, to get the job done.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, kindness, and accountability are the values that matter most to me, both professionally and personally.
