01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice is to always do what you think is best and strive to make the right choices. No matter what, you're going to make mistakes, so own it, learn from it, and move on. There's no path where everything is perfect, and the people taking the risk are the ones getting the value from it. Keep doing what you think is best, take accountability, and push forward even if it doesn't turn out as expected.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's the relationships that you build that matter most. Make connections not just with students but with teachers, colleagues, and leadership. The stronger the relationships on campus, the more everyone succeeds. Take the time to learn who you're working with and who you're working for.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Having a strong work ethic is key. My parents are Cuban immigrants and I'm a first-generation college student. Work ethic and prioritizing education are important values my family instilled in me that I want to pass on to my children and students.
