Her Interview
Ten minutes with Victoria
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to grit and determination. I am a hard worker who is committed to seeing things through, and I have the resilience to get things done. I also thrive on challenges and adapt well to change, which motivates me to continuously improve and push forward.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to take risks and just go for opportunities, even if there’s a chance of hearing “no.” The worst outcome is often just a rejection, but the upside can be significant. Because of that, I make it a habit to apply for roles and ask questions without overthinking it—you never really know what opportunities might open up until you try.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to seek broad exposure early in your career. Experience both the agency side and the client side, and try working across a few different industries to build a well-rounded perspective. The more diverse your marketing experience is, the more adaptable and competitive you become when new opportunities arise.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is helping people adapt to constant change. Whether it’s shifts in strategy, evolving marketing channels, or new technologies, adaptability is critical. AI has significantly changed the landscape, and success increasingly depends on how well we can adjust and bring others along through that change while staying aligned with evolving industry demands.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity and accountability. I also value being open to new ideas, challenges, and constructive pushback, as I believe that growth comes from thoughtful dialogue and different perspectives. Creating an environment where people feel safe to develop, take risks, and learn from experience is something I strive to uphold.
