What do you attribute your success to?
Victoria discussed her 6-year journey in biomaterial engineering, being a first-generation college student, and overcoming imposter syndrome while earning her bachelor’s and pursuing her master’s degree at Lehigh University. She works at Shriner’s Hospital for Children as a Clinical Research Aide and at Lehigh University conducting research.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Confidence is key
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Women just don't know what alternatives than are with some procedures and do not realize there are options for invasive surgeries
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Working hard. Informing women. What inspired me was Witnessing miracles in children’s lives since age 14 motivated her to contribute to medical advancements that improve their quality of life.
