Victoria Windapo
Victoria Windapo is a creative designer, media communicator, and aspiring film producer currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies at Full Sail University. Her career journey began in Nigeria, where she worked as a radio anchor for Z World on Star FM, hosting a Gen Z–focused show that explored lifestyle, culture, and social topics. She later transitioned into television production as a production assistant at MITV before joining her first film production team at Shutter Speed, where she served as an assistant production coordinator on the film Mommy Wa. While balancing her academic studies with her radio career, she developed strong discipline and time management skills before ultimately choosing to focus on advancing her education as her career goals became more defined.
In 2023, Victoria moved to the United States, where she expanded her professional experience by joining the U.S. military while continuing to pursue her passion for media and marketing through freelance social media work with brands such as Spice TV Africa and Nelly Gold Fabrics. During her military service, she strengthened her technical problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure. After leaving the military in 2025 to focus on personal and professional priorities, she transitioned fully into digital marketing and creative strategy. She has since worked with Verizon through REI Management and contributed to film and media projects with Madison Films in California, further strengthening her expertise in content strategy, brand storytelling, and audience engagement.
Today, Victoria works as a Creative Designer and Content Manager at WeAreMCBS, where she ensures that all content aligns with brand missions and marketing goals. Her daily responsibilities include conducting research, creating graphic designs, analyzing social media performance data, and preparing weekly client reports. She also collaborates with clients to help them better understand their audiences while staying current with trends in technology, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing strategies. Victoria is deeply passionate about social media marketing because she believes it provides the fastest pathway for brands to build visibility and industry presence. She is dedicated to helping businesses understand that strong brand growth requires patience, consistency, and strategic storytelling.

What do you attribute your success to?
Transparency. I feel like once there's clarity and communication, then automatically that fuels other things like teamwork and quality. That fuels all of the important aspects in being able to have that bond or maintain a good relationship, both personal and professional. Without transparency, you can't build the trust and connection needed to succeed in this field.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Right now, the biggest challenge is that a lot of people are easy to give up. They feel like they should skyrocket into having a lot of customers, engagement, or views on their videos immediately. It is hard to convince them that everything is a process. Yes, there are people who went viral or whose business started gaining a lot of presence in social media, but it doesn't happen to everyone. It is hard to sometimes convince them that it is a process. So yeah, it's mostly just the impatience of clients.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Transparency is the most important value to me. I feel like once there's clarity and communication, then automatically that fuels other things like teamwork and quality. That fuels all of the important aspects in being able to have that bond or maintain a good relationship, both in my personal life and in my professional relationships. Everything works hand-in-hand together, everything is interwoven.
