About Victoria
Victoria Yun serves as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager in the tech and SaaS field, where she has accumulated over 8 years of experience. In her role, she acts as a bridge between her company's solutions and customers' business needs, facilitating understanding, buy-in, and trust in the product and team. She particularly values the cross-functional collaboration inherent in her position, which has taught her to see problems from other people's perspectives and navigate ambiguity since there is no perfect solution in business. Currently finishing her MBA program, Victoria stepped back to school to gain a bigger picture of business structures, frameworks, and leadership, which she sees as interconnected with being a better professional and person. Her career advice centers on not being afraid to ask questions, especially when switching verticals in SaaS, and building confidence through doing by putting oneself out there. Residing in San Francisco, California, she incorporates biking into her daily errands and exercise while appreciating the city's sunshine and breezes.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't be afraid of asking questions. In the SaaS world you switch verticals a lot so asking questions is part of digging out what is important to the customer.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid of asking questions. Confidence is built through doing. See your career as doing to being. Put yourself out there and just do things.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges: AI translating the SaaS field, conversations with clients changing, change management as no one knows where AI is heading. Opportunities: AI empowering products and solutions, bunch of opportunities and futures in the field.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Gaining different perspectives from cross-functional collaboration. Navigating ambiguity since there's no perfect solution. Seeing things from other people's perspectives and adjusting based on situations.
