Virginia Wimmer, MSW
Virginia Wimmer, MSW, is a seasoned organizational psychology consultant and social worker with over 38 years of public sector experience, specializing in leadership, team development, and veteran advocacy. A U.S. Air Force veteran, she has served in pivotal roles including Deputy Secretary for Women Veterans Affairs at the State of California and Deputy Director of the Veterans Division at the San Joaquin County Veterans Service Office. In these capacities, Virginia led cross-functional teams, developed impactful policies and programs, and championed the needs of veterans and their families, with a focus on mental health, suicide prevention, and empowering women veterans.
Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and advanced training in organizational psychology, Virginia combines her expertise with a passion for social justice and community well-being. As a consultant at V.A. Wimmer Consulting, she works with organizations to improve performance, culture, and team dynamics, helping leaders and staff achieve measurable results while fostering supportive, inclusive environments.
