About Virna

Virna Little has dedicated over 30 years to the behavioral health field. She co-founded Concert Health ten years ago, where the organization implements the collaborative care model to expand access to behavioral health services while reducing overall healthcare costs. The company has served 175,000 patients across 20 states. Little also co-founded the Center for Behavioral Health Innovation, Training, and Technology, a nonprofit operating in 36 states that houses one of the largest suicide prevention projects in history and provides training on safety planning to reduce overdose events and deaths. She serves on the national and international Zero Suicide team. Little earned a bachelor's degree in social work and psychology, a master's in social work, and a doctorate in psychology. She is completing an MBA with an emphasis in healthcare. Her professional affiliations include consulting roles with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing and the AIM Center at the University of Washington, as well as board positions with the National Association of Social Workers South Carolina, the Association for Clinicians for the Underserved, Tejeda, and CF42. Outside of work, Little volunteers with local animal rescues through dog fostering.

The biggest opportunity in the field right now is the support that the current administration is giving to collaborative care.
