Her Interview
Ten minutes with Vivian
01What do you attribute your success to?
Success is an ongoing milestone measured by consistency, time management, and daily goals. In a startup environment, it's about being flexible, prioritizing, and continuous improvement rather than a single achievement.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Not to be afraid to fail and not to rush. Life is long but focus on long-term success and what makes you happy at each stage rather than short-term promotions or recognition.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Talk more about sales as a skill at a young age. There are transferable skills from any field into sales. Sales processes and methodologies should be taught more as they are applicable skills in the real world.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge in software sales is translating how AI tools enhance performance and efficiency for companies at the adoption stage, focusing on pain points and solutions.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Creating a safe space where everyone can speak up without sugarcoating, accepting failure to learn and improve, and providing more learning and support in organizations for professional development.
