Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my vision for my future. Before college, I was always that introverted person that didn't really have much to do. But knowing that I have potential, that I can change my life, and the way that people push me and the way that I push myself, it makes me say, 'Oh, maybe I can do this,' or 'Let me try this, let me expand in this way so I can get more knowledge,' or 'Let me go to this networking event to meet more people.' The most accomplished thing for me is seeing how much I've grown in such a little amount of time. My vision for my future is what pushes me forward every day.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I'd say be confident. Be confident in the way you speak to people and in networking. People get attracted to confidence, and that's how you make the connections. That's how people can say, 'Oh, well, I really like this person, let me hang out,' or 'Let me talk to my boss about this person.' That's how growth happens, and that's how you can get that opportunity is meant for you. Confidence is key.
