Her Interview

Ten minutes with LAVIVI

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think I have been blessed, because I can say that I have lived my whole life from my career since 2006. When I started, I had hits in my songs, and I think that when you know that's your career, you have a public - people who believe in me. It's like, oh wow, if they hire me, it's because they like my music. That's my motivation - I say, oh, I have to keep doing this. And then, also, when people, or magazines, or newspapers, or events give me this recognition, it's because they like my work, and that's my motivation to keep doing that. I accept this with gratitude.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is that you have to work hard for your goals. You have to believe in yourself, and maybe 'no' is not an option. You have to work hard and go for what you want.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If you love music, you have to make music with good content. Believe in your work, always looking for the best quality, because you have to give people things with great quality. Also, without God, we are nothing. And you have to believe in yourself.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think I'm in the country of opportunities. I have met a lot of people, a lot of nice people in this industry. For example, I've been in events with Sony Music, and I've been knowing producers and other influential people. Maybe in any moment, I can surprise with a new record album with people that I want to work with. I think that the limit is the sky, and I'm working to get those goals achieved, and I hope I can do it soon.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are honesty and the truth. Being a good person and being responsible. I think that the most important is being an honest person, because without that, you can't lie. You have to be clear and transparent in everything that you do.
